Summary: Although the location was farther from the center than expected, I enjoyed my stay at Luis's property. It truly is a location to immerse yourself in the local culture. I tend write longer opinions, so let me make a bullet list of pros and cons.Pros:1. Affordable and quiet2. Clean and comfy room3. Fast, dependable WiFi4. Friendly neighborhood stores and outdoor market nearby where you can buy most essential items (fruit, meats, veggies, toiletries)5. Helpful hostsCons:1. Neighborhood has many dogs and dog droppings in the street and curbs2. Location is far from supermarkets, but I was able to walk to one (Precio Uno) in about 30 minutes.Luis and Isabel were helpful and unintrusive. They responded quickly to the only two issues I encountered over a 40+day period. (One of which was out of their control).
