Positive: The apartment was very nice, big and clean. The lighting was great. They provided us with ample towels and ample kitchen supplies, coffee, spices and paper towels. The pool and deck were lovely! The property manager was very responsive and anything we needed, she made sure to bring us. Location was good but not a great. There was really nowhere to go within walking distance so you definitely need a car.

Negative: There were only 2 issues we had: 1. There were no written instructions (regarding use of appliances, hot water heater...) or information in the apartment or emailed to us. I had to reach out to the host every single time I had a question. There was a language barrier, which made it difficult, time consuming and frustrating to communicate. The host manager was very responsive and attempted to help me but sometimes she did not understand what I was saying. It would be much easier, much more efficient and much less frustrating if they had a booklet in the apartment (in English) with all of the rules, directions, appliance instructions etc.... 2. I also didn't like that we were charged a VAT upfront when I booked, which is erroneous as only Israeli citizens are responsible for paying a VAT tax. I don't know if this was a booking.com error or a mistake by the property. When I inquired about this before our trip, I was reassured repeatedly that I would receive my refund as soon as I sent them a copy of my B2 tourist card. I sent a photo of this card immediately upon arrival at the airport and was assured that it would be taken care of promptly. Four days passed and I heard nothing. I was forced to reach out to the property about my VAT refund the night before we were checking out, which is very frustrating since I never should have had to pay that tax to start with! The morning of our checkout, I was advised that I'd receive my VAT refund AFTER I checked out. I was pretty annoyed and told them that was not acceptable. At that point, they finally issued me my refund but it was not a good feeling to feel like you're being given the runaround. 3. Minor complaint: The sheets and blankets are definitely not luxury! The master bedroom had no pictures and looked like a hospital room!!
