Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It's quite close to Belen Market, which is both good (if you like outdoor food markets - think raw meat, vegetables, and loads of people) and not always great (think smells, dirt, and higher crime).

Negative: For the price, it was great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it's a safe environment. But don't expect AC, warm water, or other similar amenities. I really enjoyed it - others might not.

Summary: It was a good place to land when I arrived in Iquitos
