Positive: Good location and easy walking distance from the centre of Barranco (10 minutes) and only a ten minute taxi ride/ 25 minute walk to Miraflores. The area is safe and pleasant with good coffee shops and a small supermarket nearby. We chose the property primarily for the location as we have friends living in barranco. The apartment itself is in a block of modern apartments, with 24 hour reception and security, possibility of secure parking within the building. It is a residential building with rooftop pool and views over the city, a small gym and communal laundry facilities. The apartment is clean and spacious, with good WiFi and a nice bathroom. Soundproofing is good despite being on a fairly busy road. Large comfortable bed and a well equipped modern kitchen, with full size refrigerator. A small desk and convenient power points for working, and a comfortable couch. Communication with the owner was easy enough via WhatsApp and Google translate. Payment on arrival via PayPal to gain access code for the key safe. Reception staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful. This would make a good base for any visitors and especially for a longer stay.

Negative: A small table and chairs would be a nice addition to the balcony, as well as a drying rack for wet clothes or swimwear
