Positive: Room was spacious with very nice view of the pool, backyard and most importantly sea. Beach clean and well maintained (kudoz to the lifeguards taking care of it). It was great place even for snorkeling (done that first time in my life, and surprised how much sealife there is just next to the tourists) Cleaning staff and staff in the restaurants is very attentive. The food was good, lot of kinds, were able to find something we liked every day. Would appreciate more kinds of fruit or even sea-food, but they have an extra paid sea-food restaurant so probably they don't want to compete with them. For dinner they grilled something every day, mostly chicken, once there was fish. I must say I was pleasantly surprised considering some of the negative reviews I read about food quality before the booking. It is certainly not a Michelin star restaurant, but for dishes cooked in large volumes, and for the price we paid it was nice. The Ala-carte Chinese and Italian restaurants in the hotel area we did not miss so we haven't tried them. There were also sweets provided, but the creamy cakes and deserts, after we two or three, are not something I would miss from Egypt. The alcoholic drinks we haven't tried, so I can't comment on that. We were never that much into the animation activities, but the animation team tried hard (to involve people and provide various activities for kids and for everybody). There was no pressure on giving tips, nobody directly asked for money from us. The SPA was good, we got it for quite good price, much better than listed price. I think the actual pricing strongly varies on how busy the are. Probably you can get even slighly better price in the city, but doing it in the hotel where you stay most of the day is much more convenient. (Disclosure note: This was our third place to stay, first all-inclusive one, on our first trip in Egypt)

Negative: 1. Beach can be quite crowded. It is quite narrow for the amount of tourists, but fortunately we were able to find a sunbed every day. There is another beach just next to it. Although it is empty, tourists are not allowed to enter it (what a pity). 2. The room would appreciate better noise-proofing. Lots of noise was coming from the corridor and room next to it. As the corridor is open to the outside, there is lot of street noise coming even though the room is on the opposite side of the building. If you want a quiet retreat, maybe choose a rooms further from the street and closer to the beach. 3. Would be happier if some of the guests are more considerate and don't waste so much food by taking much more they can eat. But this is probably always a problem with all-you-can eat style of dining. 4. Had quite unpleasant encounter at reception prior our check-in. As we arrived to Hurghada earliear and 3 days before our check-in time, we went for a short trip to Luxor, we had special request to store our luggage (standard <10kg airplane overhead compartment size) somewhere in the hotel. They confirmed our special request by saying that reception will be assist us. However, to our surprise when we came to reception on the day we were going to Luxor, the receptionist and his manager refused us. If there was not cancellation fee, I would have cancelled the booking immediately. So we ended up taking our trunk to Luxor. This is the main reason for deducting a point from the rating.

Summary: For an all-inclusive hotel it was a great value for the money!
