Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Genuine host - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Pleasant village experience. Host Godson does a wonderful shikara boat tour - no need to go to Alleppey. Nearby, Chellanum fishing harbour is amazing. Maybe 100 boats and a thousand fishermen hauling in, sorting the catch, mending nets. Real slice of Kerala working life.

Negative: It was hard to find a place in Kumbalanghi to sit down, get something to drink, and rest for a bit.
